Dr Josephine Laurie is an Obstetric Medicine Specialist who specialises in medical complications of pregnancy. She works in collaboration with Eve’s team of obstetricians in managing complications such as hypertensive and renal disease, diabetes and thyroidal disorders and complex clotting disorders.
Peta completed her undergraduate medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne in 2004. Her training has been centred in tertiary level hospitals where she furthered her interest and experience in the management of high risk pregnancies. She has recently completed a fellowship in the area of adolescent gynaecology.
Lauren has been a midwife working in the Birthing Suites and The Pregnancy Assessment Unit at the Mater Mothers Hospital for the past 10 years, caring for a broad range of low risk and high-risk women. Lauren is an advocate for women-centred care and quality improvement.
