Let our experienced midwives guide you and support you in your preparations for parenthood.
Eve’s midwives, Lauren and Claire, have extensive experience in caring for women during pregnancy and early motherhood. They share the benefits of this experience in our antenatal education program, preparing women and their partners for this amazing life event.
Our antenatal education program is designed to meet your needs for information about the final stages of pregnancy, what to expect at your birth, and the first 6 weeks after delivery. The education sessions are most beneficial for women from 28 weeks’ gestation. These sessions are also the perfect opportunity for you to ask questions of our highly experienced midwives about your individual concerns and circumstances, and other information of interest to you approaching your delivery.
Eve’s pregnant patients and their partners have the option of:
- One six-hour group education session with included lunch on a Saturday, or
- Two 1.5-hour individual sessions scheduled during clinic hours Mon-Thurs.
Both options include a tour of the hospital at which you will be delivering, to be organised at a time convenient to you.
The cost of your antenatal education package (group or individual) is $275. Some health funds will provide a rebate to you. Please check with your fund.
Saturday group classes cater for 5-7 couples per group.
