Kellie is a gynaecologist and obstetrician, who can offer experienced and complete care for women of all ages. She has an approachable and reassuring bedside manner, and is committed to working with patients to achieve positive outcomes and experiences.
Kellie has a special interest and advanced training in laparoscopic surgery, prolapse, and incontinence. She is a certified colposcopist, qualified to manage pap smear abnormalities requiring colposcopy and associated treatments.
With considerable experience in high-risk obstetrics, Kellie also has a staff specialist position at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. This position sees her frequently managing pregnancies complicated by prematurity and maternal medical problems. Having a young family of her own, Kellie also appreciates the importance of personalised pregnancy care and excellent communication with her patients.
Kellie is committed to keeping up-to-date with clinical knowledge and research. She also enjoys teaching and maintains an active role in the training of other doctors involved in women’s health as well as medical students. Kellie recently received an award for her Clinical Teaching from the University of Queensland, where she is currently an Associate Lecturer.
