It’s a scary statistic for parents, that of all infant and childhood injuries, 80% happen within the home. As parents, or parents to be, are we skilled to handle a medical emergency?

Eve Health offers a Paediatric First Aid course every month and these are suited to new parents, parents to be, as well as grandparents.

The course runs for 3 hours and costs $85 (+booking fee where applicable) per person. It is practical and hands-on in a small group, with a focus on the most common household injuries known to affect babies and toddlers. At the end of the session you will be more confident in what to do in an emergency situation, equipped with the knowledge on how to save a life and know what to do in the crucial time where you are waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
