Kellie is able to offer the complete range of women’s health services at Eve Health. She has an approachable, reassuring and empathetic bedside manner, and is committed to working with patients to achieve positive outcomes and experiences.
Kellie has considerable experience with high-risk obstetrics, having managed many pregnancies complicated by prematurity and complex maternal medical problems. With her advanced training in minimally invasive surgery and prolapse, Kellie is qualified to manage and treat pap smear abnormalities and sexual difficulties such as vaginismus and sexual pain.
Kellie strongly believes in empowering women by providing them with the knowledge to make an informed choice about their healthcare.
She strives to achieve this with each patient by staying abreast of the latest developments in her field and communicating this with her patients.
Kellie has a special interest in pelvic floor disorders and is therefore well placed to inform women of their birthing choices. She works closely with qualified physiotherapists for care of the pelvic floor during the pregnancy and postpartum journey.
In addition to her work at Eve Health, Kellie also holds a staff specialist position at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She enjoys teaching and maintains an active role in the training of junior doctors and medical students. Kellie has received an award for her Clinical Teaching from the University of Queensland, where she is currently an Associate Lecturer.
In her spare time, Kellie enjoys camping with friends and family and riding the ups and downs of parenthood that her daughters Molly and Phoebe provide her with.
