Eve Health midwives have extensive experience in caring for women during pregnancy and early motherhood and they share their experience in our in-house antenatal education program. Our antenatal classes are designed for current Eve Health patients to explain the final stages of pregnancy, what to expect during your baby’s birth, and the first 6 weeks at home with your new baby.

The sessions are most beneficial from 28 weeks’ gestation and are the perfect opportunity to prepare you and your partner for parenthood, as well as discuss any questions with our midwives.

We have several programs to choose from depending on your birth preference or plan:

Small Group Birthing Class

This class runs either as a one day course on alternate Saturdays at Eve Health from 9:00am -3.30pm.

The small group birthing class is best suited to those wanting general birthing preparation or information to decide upon their delivery preference.

Our midwives will cover all aspects of late stage pregnancy expectations including:

  • signs and symptoms that you might need to call the hospital for
  • stages of labour
  • pain relief options
  • normal birth and unexpected outcomes (instrumental births and emergency caesarean section), induction of labour
  • your newborn, breastfeeding, your postnatal hospital stay, and bringing your baby home.

Cost $370 includes refreshments, handouts
