Dr Erin Wilson

BSc MBBS PhD FRANZCOG

Dr Erin Wilson truly enjoys talking to her patients and helping to make a real difference in their lives. She knows there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to gynaecology and strives to understand and satisfy every patient’s specific needs and goals.

Erin trained in Queensland and is a current staff specialist at Mater Mothers’ Hospital. Erin enjoys all aspects of gynaecology and has spent time working in the advanced laparoscopy service, persistent pelvic pain clinic, young adults’ gynaecology services and colposcopy. Erin has extensive experience in menstrual concerns, pelvic pain, abnormal cervical screening, colposcopy, endometriosis, young adults’ gynaecology, PCOS and vulval disorders.

She is a senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland (UQ), an Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy & Surgery Society (AGES) member and was awarded a PhD in 2019 from the University of Queensland (UQ) for her research into surgical training.

Dr Wilson finds great joy in performing simple procedures to improve a woman’s quality of life and then seeing their relief when they feel like someone has listened to them and helped.

In Erin’s free time she enjoys spending time with her 3 children, running, doing Pilates, researching, and attending conferences.
